What exactly is a grad cap topper?
A topper is a custom-decorated panel that sits on top of your graduation cap. Instead of painting or gluing things directly onto your cap, you get a finished design that attaches in seconds. Your cap stays clean, and your design stays picture-perfect.
Will it fit my cap?
Yes! Our toppers are approximately 9.5" x 9.5", which fits standard graduation caps. On 3D designs, flowers and bows may extend slightly past the edges for that full, glam look. Custom image toppers may be slightly larger or smaller depending on the design you send.
Do I need to send you my cap?
Nope! Keep your cap. We only make the topper, and it's designed to fit standard caps.
How does it attach? Will it damage my cap?
Every topper comes with adhesive attachments on the back. Just remove the backing strips, line it up and press all the corners down. No glue, staples or pins needed.
What about the button in the middle of my cap?
We cut out the center of your topper so it sits flat over your cap's button. Most orders include a replacement centerpiece that covers the button, so your full design still shows.
What styles do you offer?
- Flat Image Topper ($30): your design printed on premium heavy cardstock. Photo collages, quotes, school colors, your own design — anything goes.
- 3D Embellished Topper ($50): everything in the flat topper plus handmade embellishments like faux flowers, rhinestones, pearls, butterflies, glitter lettering and bows.
- Full Bling Topper ($80): every inch hand-placed in rhinestones for maximum sparkle.
Can you recreate a design I found online?
Yes! Send us your inspo picture and we'll bring it to life as closely as possible. Many of our customers send designs they found or created, and we recreate them with real glitter, rhinestones and 3D details.
Will I see my topper before you make it?
Always. After you order, we send you a digital mockup to approve. You can request changes to placement, text or font before you approve. Nothing is made until you say it's perfect. We also send photos of your finished topper before it ships.
How long does it take?
Allow 4–5 business days after you approve your mockup, plus shipping. We recommend ordering at least 3 weeks before your graduation so there's time for your mockup, production and shipping.
What's included in my order?
Your custom topper, adhesive attachments and a care card. Most orders also include a replacement centerpiece for your cap's center button.
How do I care for my topper?
Store it flat in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat vents and car dashboards. Heat can weaken the adhesive. Avoid stacking anything on top of it, especially 3D designs.
Can I return my topper?
Since every topper is custom made just for you, toppers are final sale. If something happens to your topper in transit, reach out and we'll help.
